Third Intifada?

This entry was posted in History on by .

This article from The Christian Science Monitor, asks whether a Third Intifada is brewing?

Which caused me to ask, when did the Second one end?

According to the article, in 2004. Any one else heard of this?

Wikipedia says it’s still going strong, and I think the events of the Middle East pretty much back up that claim.

If you were in Israel, you would know that the Intifada is over and ended around the time Arafat died.

Unfortunately, you’re in America and so need to create a myth of a poor, third-world war-zone Israel in order to strengthen your Jewish identity like most American Jews (whether non-observant or the frummest of the frum)

Interesting, I assume you are in Israel. Before writing this piece, I contacted a few friends and family in Israel. All of them agreed that the Intifada was actually not over.
