Often translated as “Show Bread,” it literally means “Face Bread.” (Exodus 25:30)

The Israelites are told to construct a table with “show bread” as part of the mishkan. The twelve loaves represent the twelve tribes.

Pronounced: KHAH-luh, Origin: Hebrew, ceremonial bread eaten on Shabbat and Jewish holidays.
Torah
Pronunced: TORE-uh, Origin: Hebrew, the Five Books of Moses.
