Workers Circle Hosts Virtual KinderKlub Yiddish Mini-Course

Hosted By: The Workers Circle

Join the Workers Circle this spring for a virtual five-session KinderKlub Yiddish mini-course!

6-12 year kinder (children), together with their eltern (grown-ups), including parents and grandparents, are invited to explore Yiddish culture and language with klezmer master fiddler and award-winning children’s educator Deborah Strauss!

Join families from around the world for instrumental music, songs, dances, and stories, from the comfort of home! Whether you’re just learning the alef-beys, you know a bisl (little), or even a bisl mer (little more), this course is for you!

All materials will be presented in Yidishe oysyes (Yiddish letters) and in an English translation. Participants will learn instrumental melodies and songs by ear, and from written music, as needed.

Dates: Sundays, March 20, 27, April 3, 10, and April 24 from 3:00-3:45 PM ET
Cost of Program: $60.00
