Voices of Humanity: Stories of Resilience and Courage, Part Two

Hosted By: Baltimore Zionist District

The Baltimore Zionist District hosts a two-part virtual series guided by Evgenia Kempinski, a professional Jewish tour guide from St. Petersburg, Russia. Part Two, “Janusz Korczak: The ‘Old Doctor’ and Pioneer of Children’s Rights,” explores the inspiring story of Janusz Korczak, a revered doctor, educator, and advocate for children’s rights. Korczak managed a Jewish orphanage in Warsaw, Poland, protecting his children from the harsh realities of the Warsaw Ghetto until he was tragically forced to lead them to the Treblinka death camp.
