Virtual Walking Tour: Jewish Assisi

Hosted By: The Museum of Jewish Heritage-- A Living Memorial to the Holocaust

Join the Museum and Our Travel Circle for a tour of Assisi, Italy. On this tour, attendees will experience the story of the courageous population of the town, many of whom risked their lives to save Jews during the Holocaust and were named Righteous Among the Nations. Attendees will walk the path of the rescue operation, visiting some of the 26 monasteries and convents that were used as shelters for Jews and provided them with false transit papers.
