Tu Bishvat: Doing Our Part to Protect Our Planet

Hosted By: Congregation Kol Ami

Join the Tzedek Council of Kol Ami for a special program in observance of Tu Bishvat, the Jewish holiday for trees! We will be gathering virtually to learn a bit about the Jewish holiday for trees, Tu Bishvat, then learning a bit about how we can reduce waste in our communities through composting in light of California’s new statewide composting law. We’ll also plant some seeds together and share in some blessings centering on the holy act of sowing and planting, followed by a brief l’chaim to welcome the holiday! Please register for a Zoom link.
