Join My Jewish Learning for a virtual tour of Indonesia’s Jewish community and history. Jewish presence in Indonesia goes back at least 1500 years, with Jews settling all across the many islands that make up the country as it is known today. Learn about the waves of immigration from Bagdad, China, Spain, and more. They will be joined by Rabbi David Kunin, who has worked with the emerging Jewish community of Indonesia for 10 years and will share what Jewish life currently looks like for Indonesia’s Jewish population.
