Through the Years, Through the Tears: A Tish A B’Av series

Hosted By: Temple Beth El of Boca Raton

In the midst of the year marking the 75th anniversary of State of Israel, like every year for centuries, we pause and remember the feeling of loss tied up with the loss of the Ancient Land. This is the fast day of Tisha B’Av, the 9th day of the Hebrew month of Av. Starting with modern times and going backwards, you will reflect on those low points in Jewish history era by era. Additionally, for those who can attend in-person, the series will culminate in a Tisha B’Av observance on Wednesday July 26, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the temple’s Schaefer Family Campus in east Boca Raton, Florida.

Temple Beth El of Boca Raton

Welcome to Temple Beth El of Boca Raton, one of the most vibrant and highly respected Reform congregations in the U.S.

From a small group of committed pioneers who formed the Boca Raton Hebrew Congregation in 1967, Temple Beth El of Boca Raton has grown to be the largest congregation in our area, a center of Jewish tradition, connection, culture, learning, and community. Throughout our history we have sought to create a spirit of warmth, intimacy, and vitality in all that we are and do, welcoming all people who wish to pursue a meaningful Jewish life. We believe strongly in making a difference in each member’s life, in the larger community, in Israel, and in our world.
