The Makom Salon – Season 2

Hosted by Jonny Ariel and Abi Dauber Sterne, The Makom Salon features stimulating conversations with leading thinkers and activists from North America and Israel. In these difficult and polarizing times, The Makom Salon offers connection, prompts contemplation, and inspires hope.

Each online event will include guests who’ll share their wisdom and experience, and respond to questions from the host.

This season, we’re drawing inspiration from Makom’s book, Israel Education: The Next Edge, that was published earlier this year. The book presents fresh ideas, from a wide variety of thinkers and educators, about what Israel education for this generation should look like. Each Salon conversation corresponds to a different theme explored in the book.
