Yehouda Shenhav-Shahrabani is a professor of sociology at Tel Aviv University, and chief editor of Maktoob at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute. He is also Membre du Conseil Scientifique de l’Institute d’Études Avancées de Nantes, the author of numerous books, and has translated 14 novels from Arabic to Hebrew, among them five by Lebanese writer Elias Khoury.
