Marjorie Agosin

Marjorie Agosin is the Andrew Mellon professorship in the Humanities at Wellesley College. She is a poet, author and a human rights activist. She is the recipient of many literary awards including the Gabriela Mistral Medal of Honor granted by the Government of Chile and the Pura Belpre award for her YA novel I lived on Butterfly Hill.
