Idan Dershowitz Is Chair of Hebrew Bible and Its Exegesis at the University of Potsdam. In 2017 he was selected to the Harvard Society of Fellows. Dershowitz’s dramatic claim that a long-thought forgery is both authentic and the oldest existing biblical manuscript was recently profiled in the New York Times. He is the author of The Dismembered Bible: Cutting and Pasting Scripture in Antiquity and The Valediction of Moses: A Proto-Biblical Book.
