Cantor Hayley Kobilinsky, a native New Yorker, was ordained in 2005, from Hebrew Union College’s Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music. From a young age she embraced a love of music, and a love for Judaism, which she merged to become a cantor. The sole grandchild of Holocaust survivors, Hayley is dedicated to the continuation of Judaism, especially by helping the beauty of Judaism bloom in the minds of her students.

She currently serves as Spiritual Leader of Chavurat Tikvah of Rye, NY, and has previously served congregations in Manhattan, Northern Westchester County, and New Jersey, and has given concerts, done informal education, services, and workshops, in Connecticut, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Florida, California, Minnesota, Montreal, and Israel. She has taught approximately 600 bar and bat mitzvah students (plus several dozen more adult bar/bat mitzvah students).
