In Real Times: Exploring Arthur Szyk’s Artistic Activism with Dr. Sharon Keller

Hosted By: Orange County Community Scholar Program (CSP)

The Community Scholar Program presents an informative session with Dr. Sharon Keller, focusing on her insights from the “In Real Times. Arthur Szyk: Artist and Soldier for Human Rights” art exhibit at Fairfield University Art Museum’s Bellarmine Hall Galleries. This exhibition, the largest in the Northeast in over 50 years, showcases over 50 of Szyk’s original works that bring attention to the Holocaust and human rights issues through his distinctive miniature scale art. Curated by Francesco Spagnolo, PhD, the exhibit is divided into sections that explore various human rights themes, offering a comprehensive view of Szyk’s impact and legacy.
