This course will provide students with working knowledge about stages of the life span as they prepare to assist congregants, families and communities. Theorist Erik Erikson’s framework will be used. Additionally, the application on Syndemics (public health) factors will prepare Rabbis to best guide them in making community resource  referrals.

The Hebrew Seminary, founded in 1992, is a pluralistic, egalitarian, inclusive Rabbinical school that trains people as Rabbis and educators to serve all Jewish communities, including the Deaf community. All classes are currently held virtually and are open to Rabbinic students, as well as auditing students from around the world.
