Holiday Heroines

Hosted By: The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning

This six-week program, led by a renowned Torah scholar, focuses on exploring the Jewish calendar through the stories of women in Jewish holidays. Participants will examine a range of topics, from the women of Passover as symbols of civil disobedience to the feminine origins of Hamantaschen in Purim. The course aims to uncover lesser-known female heroines, providing new insights and perspectives on both famous and obscure Biblical women.
