From Rebellion to Resolve: Key Themes in the Book of Numbers

Hosted By: My Jewish Learning

The Book of Numbers, or Sefer Bamidbar, deals with family betrayal, rebellious partners, and bad faith business dealings.

In this 3-part class with My Jewish Learning, learn about the Israelites’ transition from rebels to a community that is ready to advance to the Promised Land. The themes of Numbers have implications for our lives today, and we’ll study midrashim, biblical interpretations, to amplify our understanding of the Israelites and ourselves. Taught by Hayim Herring, Ph.D.
