Eva Zeisel (1906 –2011) is one of the most important designers of the 20th century, She  had the first one-woman exhibition at MoMA in 1946. She believed that beautiful things make people happy.


Actress and author Jean Richards shares her knowledge, memories and insights about her mother and reads from the memoir of Eva’s 16 months in a Soviet prison (1937-38) during the Stalinist purges.
