Displaced Israelis: An Update on the Evacuees From the North and the South

Hosted By: The American Zionist Movement

Over 200,000 Israelis are now living in hotels and apartments across the country. Since October 7th, 150,000 have been evacuated from the south. With Hezbollah-led forces attacking northern Israeli communities since October 8th, 80,000 northern residents have also been dispersed to temporary housing. A panel chaired by Ayelet Nachmias-Verbin, chair of JReady and the Fund for Victims of Terror of The Jewish Agency, leads a discussion on the trauma these evacuees face daily and how they are coping, building structure, and forming temporary communities.
