African Exodus: Film and Conversation With the Director

Hosted By: Jewish Collaborative of Orange County

Seeking safety and asylum, some 60,000 Africans have fled to Israel over the past decade. The country has no policy, infrastructure or political will to handle this wave of migrants. ‘African Exodus,’ a documentary film by award-winning filmmaker Brad Rothschild (“They Ain’t Ready For Me”), explores Israel’s other refugee crisis.

The Orange County Jewish Coalition for Refugees (OCJCR) will be streaming African Exodus from January 7-10. ALSO on Thursday, January 13th at 1:00 PM Pacific time, join OCJCR for a conversation with the Director and Producer of African Exodus, Brad Rothschild. Joining Brad will be a Sudanese asylum seeker in Israel now living in Sweden.
