Forgiving Ourselves, Each Other, and The Divine: A Journaling Workshop

Hosted By: My Jewish Learning

This online course will formally begin on Wednesday, September 20, which falls right in the middle of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. This auspicious time on the Jewish calendar provokes us to be both introspective and active; it requires us to be not only thinking about but embodying forgiveness.

In this course, we will meet on Zoom three times to explore forgiveness through creative means. Each week, we will convene as a group to be anchored in a relevant Jewish text, have time to write and reflect and — though not required — have space to share your work with others

Each week after class, you will receive additional (optional) writing prompts so you can continue engaging with the topic throughout the course and beyond.
