Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center (Elkins Park, PA)
The Holocaust Awareness Museum and Education Center (HAMEC) was founded in 1961 to educate students and adults in the Philadelphia area. Now serving schools and other institutions locally and around the world, HAMEC seeks to personalize the Holocaust in order to teach the consequences of racism, ethnic cleansing, and intolerance.
