Rivkah Schack

Rivkah Schack is on a mission to restore the "whole child" to the central focus of Jewish education. Her journey began when she sold her thriving management accounting firm back in 2004 to found Torah Montessori School with her husband Moshe. Success there--applying scientific research and elements of the Montessori Method to work with a wide spectrum of students--led to being offered the educational leadership of Lamplighters Yeshivah (Brooklyn, NY) in 2012. In 2017, she co-founded a progressive boys Mesivta at Lamplighters. In addition to carrying out school leadership, teacher mentorship and curriculum development at Lamplighters, she currently spearheads several research projects as well as consults on new school development. She is also one of the key developers of the Visible Classroom, a high-definition video project aimed at gathering real-time classroom data to mentor teachers and personalize learning for every student.
