Igal Jusidman
Igal Jusidman Born in Mexico Healthy secular Jewish Zionist upbringing Studied business and worked in the family business until I realized running after money is not for me. So I went out to travel the world and see what more is out there. I would say "I found myself" after spending enough time far from what I know and those who know me. I traveled the world for 3 1/2 years, long and many stories -the most important would be discovering Vipassana (a Buddhist meditation technique)- then I decided to study comparative religions in Jerusalem and photography. I was a photographer fro 10-15 years and lived in Southern Mexico (Oaxaca) until I moved to Sweden and was difficult to re-start my photo carrier. At the same time my father decided to start the foundation which I joined not only as a trustee but the foundation CEO, I always wanted to do something for others and photography was not filling that necessity. I discovered my place to be! On one side I'm doing something that it makes me feel good, I'm making a difference for the better in society. I'm making a difference! On the other, I found my place in the family, I'm making sure that the wealth that my father created is used for the good of our society, for a noble purpose. At the same time I have met amazing people who are also doing good for others with money or time and I have created a network of people around me that together we are having real impact, I'm not alone.
