Devorah Lieberman

Devorah Lieberman was born in Valley Stream, Long Island in 1984. After graduating from high school in 2006, she attended an Orthodox Jewish girls’ seminar in Jerusalem for two years before working in a nursery school and kindergarten class as a teacher’s assistant for five years. Every summer from the time she was 13-22 years old, Devorah was a camper in a Yachad bunk at Camp Morasha. She has been in the work program performing several different jobs at camp every summer since then. In June 2010 she moved into an Ohel group home in Brooklyn, NY. Devorah currently works in the Yachad office in New York part of the week and for the Foundation for Jewish Camp the other part of the week. She enjoys both jobs and says that she and her family are very proud of everything she has, and continues to, accomplish.
