Mean What You Pray: A Guide to High Holiday Prayers

Hosted By: The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning

Have you ever found yourself thinking, “High Holiday services seem long and repetitive and I don’t really understand what the prayers are saying!” And yet, something draws us back to these services every year. In this three-part course taught by Jewish liturgy scholar and expert Melton teacher Rabbi Amy Wallk, we will examine some of the most important High Holiday prayers. Together we will find ways to make these ancient texts accessible and meaningful, enriching our holiday season.
