Deborah Niederman, RJE, currently serves as the Director of Religious School and Young Family Programming at Temple Shalom of Dallas. She has been in Jewish education for nearly 30 years, since before graduating from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion, Rhea Hirsch School of Education in 1993. She has worked in nearly every area of Jewish education and congregational life from running religious schools, youth groups and camps to writing curriculum, leading research, creating and facilitating professional development and lay leadership training.
