Cantor Michael Zoosman received his Cantorial Ordination and Master of Sacred Music from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in 2007. He is a Board Certified Chaplain through Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains. He has worked as a pulpit cantor and as a Jewish prison chaplain in the United States and Canada. His grandmother Clara Grossman will turn 101 years old on December 24th, 2021. Clara’s family recently discovered the full identity of the Polish Catholic farmer who hid her and her sisters and was killed: Mr. Michal Cegielski. Clara has submitted Mr. Cegielski’s story to Yad Vashem in Israel and is currently awaiting a ruling on whether he will be formally recognized and added to their “Garden of the Righteous Among the Nations.”
