The Jewish Justin Bieber?

It’s possible that we have something of an obsession with Justin Bieber in this office. Just two weeks ago Jeremy posted about JB’s habit of saying the Shema before every show, and today my friend David passed on this video:

This kid (his name is Meydad Tasa) is clearly angling to be the religious Jewish Justin Bieber. He already has the hair and the pipes. Last year, apparently he sang the official election jingle for the Sephardic Shas party in Israel. At that time, he received a blessing from Rabbi Ovadia Yosef.  That is kind of like the time that Justin Bieber sang on the We are the World to benefit victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Really, all Meydad needs now is these slick dance moves. Also, he should make friends with a rapper.
