has garnered one of the quirkier end-of-season literary honors: Bookslut has named it one of the year’s 6 best covers.

Cohen’s book, which tells the story of his dysfunctional Jewish family’s saccharine dynasty, was previously named by the New York Times as one of the year’s 100 notable books.
