Here is a link to a post from The New Republic about a new book by Robert Putnam (“Bowling Alone”) about the tolerance of Americans toward religious groups. The book isn’t due out for a while, so there aren’t any real numbers. We’re just going to have to take Putnam for his word.

For all of the fears the Jewish community has of rising anti-Semitism in the world, those fears may be wrong. Of all of the opinions on religious groups, Jews came in first place! Jews came ahead of mainline Protestants! How is that even possible????

I’ll be the first to say it: Jews. The most popular people in the world.
