What a wonderful way to look at adoption. I believe, in the world today with earthquakes and severe storms God is speaking to us and this just emphasizes that even more to me. There are few greater mizvot than giving a child a chance to grow up in a home filled with love, integrity, morality and most importantly a good and fair God. What a shining example to set for a child who has none of the above; no love, starvation, abuse and no God. I champion the couples who adopt children and take the children from no identity to great self-esteem.

I was abandoned as an infant and adopted by a wonderful couple who loved me more than anything in this world. I had hoped to adopt a child when I was married so that I could give back what was given to me but it was not meant to be. I so admire all who do so. I also commend the many grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. Thank youl.

My wife and I are the proud parents of 2 adopted boys, one of which was born our grandson the product of a casual affair, he is now 21 and doing very well, and were so proud of him. The second boy was one of our 11+ foster children, he is a absolute good kid and very handsome. When we told our friends and family about our plans of adopting,,, they all said we would be sorry, were Crazy,,, not true. So for anyone who is thinking about adoption, go for it. The rewards will be far beyond your dreams. Thank you, John and Carol
