It’s Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, which makes it an awesome time to eat some Israeli food.

I have been in love with Israeli eats ever since my first trip to the country more than 15 years ago. And these days you can find Israeli food all over the U.S.: from Portland to Philadelphia, Israeli-inspired food is one of the trendiest cuisine enjoyed by more and more Americans.

Even babies loves Israeli food! Here is my daughter enjoying her own bowl of French fries dipped in hummus in Tel Aviv a few years ago. I mean, I really just wanted to share this adorable photo of my kid shoving hummus in her face.
