Israeli-style chopped salad, typically made with cucumber, tomato, sometimes red onion or peppers and always with fresh herbs and lemon, is about as simple and perfect for summertime (or anytime) as it gets. There’s no cooking involved, and it’s healthy, refreshing and easy to throw together. But even perfection needs a little shaking up once in awhile.
