How to Write for The Nosher

Here's how to pitch us your best Jewish food articles and ideas.

The Nosher is always looking for submissions and new contributors.

To pitch a piece, please email info@TheNosher.com with “submission” in the subject line. Please make sure to include a brief bio and a detailed pitch or complete post you would like us to consider (either attached as a Word Document, Google Document, or pasted directly into the body of the email).

The Nosher seeks to tell the diverse and ever-evolving story of Jewish food on our website through trend pieces, profiles of chefs, restaurant stories, and innovative recipes. We look for an explicitly Jewish food angle to all our content. We do not accept previously published work (this includes your personal blog). If you are sending the piece to multiple publications, please notify us immediately if it’s been accepted elsewhere. Original recipe submissions must be accompanied by high-res photos (at least 1600 pixels wide) taken in bright or natural light.

The best way to get a sense of what we’re looking for is to read the website thoroughly. If there is a particular topic you are pitching, make sure to check if we have covered it previously.

We look forward to hearing from you.
