Teacher

Rabbi Aviva Funke

Rabbi Aviva Funke: I am a mother, sacred-space facilitator, musician and spiritual educator dedicated to making Judaism accessible, relevant and meaningful for the whole family. I recently relocated back to Scottsdale, AZ where I am now Principal of the BJE’s Hebrew High of Greater Phoenix. The past two years I served as school rabbi for Brawerman East of Wilshire Boulevard Temple in Los Angeles, CA. While earning my ordination from the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies (grad. 2018), I launched Na’or, a prayer project designed to reimagine the Jewish prayer experience through music and kavvanah (intention setting).
