Zoom Conversation with Author Jo Ivester

Hosted By: Jewish Federation of New Mexico

Inspired by her transgender son, Jo Ivester wrote her second book, Once a Girl, Always a Boy (She Writes Press, April 2020). Through this and community and school talks, she and Jeremy share the story of what it was like for Jeremy to grow up in a world not quite ready for people like him. Jeremy will join Jo for this appearance.

This event is part of the 2021 Spring ABQ Jewish Book Fest, presented by the Jewish Community Center of Greater Albuquerque through the Jewish Book Council. The series is sponsored in part by the Jewish Federation of New Mexico, Page 1 Books, and BookWorks.
