Words of a Feather: The Making of a Torah Scroll

How are Torah scrolls made, and what does it mean that women are making them? Get an inside peek at the process and materials for creating Torah scrolls and other sacred writings, including the parchment, ink, writing instruments, letter formation, and sacred intention. This workshop will include a glimpse into the scribe’s toolbox and close-up photographs of unusual sections of the Torah.
