Why A Return to Yiddish?

Hosted By: Temple Ner Tamid

Recent decades have seen an explosion of interest in Yiddish culture. From Yiddish theater and Yiddish summer programs, to Yiddish literature and Yiddish music festivals, people young and old are exploring their roots. Join Aaron Lansky, the founder and president of the Yiddish Book Center, as he explores this phenomenon. Aaron will also spend time speaking about how the new connection to online learning in this time of COVID is ripe with possibilities for the further spread of Yiddish language, culture, and literature.
