When Bias Enters the Clinic: Antisemitism and Anti-Zionism in Modern Medicine

Case Western Reserve University’s Siegal Lifelong Learning presents an interactive short course, in collaboration with the Anti-Defamation League, on the rise of antisemitism in healthcare since October 7, 2023, with three experts in antisemitism education, healthcare administration, and clinical practice. The sessions examine current manifestations, historical connections, effects on the delivery of care and patient outcomes, and steps to counter the present narrative. Topics include Jewish identity, patient and practitioner rights, best practices for incident reporting, and training mechanisms to improve the climate in medical education and care.
