Unlocking Meaning in the Words of the Siddur
Hosted By: Valley Beit Midrash
Valley Beit Midrash explores a method for deepening engagement with prayer through rigorous interpretation of the texts of Jewish liturgy. Participants examine whether traditional prayer formulas can express their own values, what to do when they disagree with a prayer’s content, and how to interpret the siddur in a grounded, traditional, yet creative manner.
