The Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy presents a tour of the old haunts of Murder Inc., the Mafia, and the G-Men on their trail, tracing the Lower East Side origins of notorious Jewish mobsters including Arnold Rothstein, Meir Lansky, and Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel. The walk explores questions of morality, power, and assimilation as it follows the paths of gangs and gambling that later extended to Atlantic City, Miami, Cuba, and Las Vegas.
