Torah for Our Lives: Training for Moral Agency with the Jewish Hero’s Journey
Hosted By: Pardes
The Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies presents a course introducing the first two paths of Jewish heroism — Tov (seeing the essential good) and Avodah (cultivating the substance of self) — as a Torah-based training system for moral agency. Through the archetypes of Moshe, Adam, and Eliezer the servant, participants will learn to anchor their vision in what’s worth fighting for and build the inner discipline to serve it. The course offers new frames for understanding and daily practices aimed at closing the gap between intention and action.
