Rashut HaR’abim’s Global Education Department is excited to invite you to an online event in English: TIKKUN on the eve of Israeli Elections. In a time where we are globally connected, how can we the civil society,
the Jewish people, rise up to find the common thread that unites us? Come together in solidarity and compassion to heal and to reconnect Jews from around the globe in these challenging times.
Directot of Education Partnerships at My Jewish Learning, Sharon Weiss-Greenberg, will teach lecture on “From Exception to Acceptance: The Blemished Kohen As A Model For Gender Equity.” Jewish texts and laws pave the way for inclusion in the realm of the role of kohanim, Levitical priests. This session will explore what lessons can be learned and strategies that could be implemented to advocate for inclusion of all Jews.
