Ariel Brawerman

Ariel Brawerman is a civil engineer (graduating from U of M in 2010) currently working on life cycle and supply enhancement studies. He was born in Buenos Aires but has been calling Winnipeg home since 2013. In his free time, besides photography and LEGOs, science takes a big part of his interests.

Dr. Rena Secter Elbaze

Dr. Rena Secter Elbaze has been the Director of Engagement and Education at Congregation Shaarey Zedek in Winnipeg, Canada since September 2016. Dr. Elbaze graduated in 1999 from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, France with a Doctoral degree in Communications dealing with Israel’s Image in the Media. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Rena earned her bachelor’s degree in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from the University of Manitoba and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1985. Since 2012, Dr. Elbaze has worked as a professional in the Jewish Community for Jewish Federation of Winnipeg and Jewish Child and Family Service before joining Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
