The Shofar Project: Getting Real (Again) for the New Year

The Institute for Jewish Spirituality presents four weeks of Jewish spiritual practice led by core faculty—Rabbi Jordan Bendat-Appell, Kohenet Keshira haLev Fife, Rebecca Schisler, and Rabbi Marc Margolius. Participants will gather throughout the month of Elul, traditionally a time for teshuva (return), for reflection and preparation leading up to the Yamim Nora’im, the Days of Awe. This year’s teachings will draw from “This Is Real and You Are Completely Unprepared” by Rabbi Alan Lew, z”l.
