The Rise and Fall of the Jewish Justices
Hosted By: Jewish Study Center
The Jewish Study Center presents a program on the history of Jewish justices on the U.S. Supreme Court. For more than a century, the Court included at least one Jewish justice, and at times an informal “Jewish seat” was said to exist. The session examines the period when multiple Jewish justices served simultaneously and considers what it may mean that only one remains today.
