The Profound Spiritual Journeying of Psalm 27, the Psalm for Elul

Hosted By: The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning

The Psalm we recite each day during the month of Elul, in preparation for the New Year, dives deep into the human heart and into our relationship with the Holy One. From confidence to terror, from yearning to determination…and with so much love and gentle yearning …this psalm enables us to explore and to experience so many dimensions of our spiritual experience, it’s no wonder that we are called to recite it every day! Come and share the experience of the ancient practice of “Holy Reading” in order to help make this psalm a prayer of your own.
