The Prime Ministers: A Personal Perspective
Hosted By: The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning
The Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning presents a four-part series with Professor Meron Medzini, one of Israel’s distinguished historians, sharing his personal recollections of David Ben-Gurion, Levi Eshkol, Golda Meir, and Yitzhak Rabin. Drawing on his experiences in government, including serving as press secretary to Eshkol during the Six-Day War, Meir during the Yom Kippur War, and Rabin during his first term as prime minister, Medzini will take participants beyond the familiar historical accounts. Each session explores one leader’s political rise, achievements, failures, and approach to decision-making, alongside Medzini’s memories of their personalities and relationships.
