Community Scholar Program explores why God’s name is missing from the Book of Esther and what that absence might mean. Through four traditional explanations—and a provocative fifth—the session reexamines a biblical story with little overt religion and characters seemingly unconcerned with ritual life. The discussion opens onto a broader dilemma about faith and identity in modern Western society.
